Your first visit is all about getting to know you. We'll talk about what brought you in, your goals, and what you want to get back to doing—whether that's lifting heavier, running pain-free, or simply moving better in everyday life.
Next, we'll perform a comprehensive movement assessment to evaluate how your body moves and identify any mobility, strength, stability, or movement impairments that may be contributing to your pain or limiting your performance.
Based on what we find, we'll develop a personalized treatment plan designed to address those underlying issues and create a clear roadmap to help you reach your goals as efficiently and confidently as possible.

Your first performance training session is all about understanding you and your goals. We'll discuss what brought you in, what you're hoping to achieve, and what success looks like for you—whether that's improving strength, speed, power, agility, or overall athletic performance.
Next, we'll perform a comprehensive movement assessment along with sport-specific and performance-based testing to establish your baseline and identify your strengths and areas for improvement.
Using this information, we'll design a personalized training program tailored to your needs, addressing any limitations while helping you build the strength, power, and movement quality needed to reach your performance goals.

Please wear comfortable, breathable clothing that allows you to move freely, along with athletic shoes or sneakers. We recommend bringing a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout your session.
If you have any relevant imaging, medical records, or previous physical therapy notes you'd like us to review, feel free to bring those as well.

Many of my patients have come to me after feeling frustrated with previous physical therapy experiences. While traditional PT often involves short appointments, seeing multiple patients at once, and relying heavily on passive treatments, my approach is different.
Every session is one-on-one with me, allowing for personalized coaching, hands-on treatment when appropriate, and progressive strength and movement training. I emphasize education and active rehabilitation so you leave each session understanding what we're working on, why it matters, and how it moves you closer to your goals.
I also take the time to perform a thorough movement assessment to identify the root cause of your pain—not just treat the symptoms. Every plan of care is tailored to your specific needs and goals, whether that's returning to sport, getting back in the gym, or simply moving without pain. There are no shortcuts and no cookie-cutter exercise programs.
My goal isn't just to help you feel better today—it's to help you move better, perform better, and stay pain-free for the long term.

No! Florida is a direct access state, which means you can schedule an evaluation and begin physical therapy without a physician referral. If your condition requires collaboration with another healthcare provider or falls outside the scope of physical therapy, we'll guide you through the appropriate next steps and coordinate your care as needed.
Under Florida law, a physical therapist can treat you through direct access for up to 30 days if your condition has not already been evaluated by a qualified healthcare provider. If treatment extends beyond 30 days, we'll simply coordinate with your physician or another qualified practitioner to review and sign your plan of care so your treatment can continue seamlessly. We'll guide you through that process if it's needed.

REP Physical Therapy & Performance is an out-of-network provider, which means we do not bill insurance directly.
By operating outside of insurance, we're able to provide care based on your goals and what you actually need—not on restrictions, visit limits, or treatment guidelines set by an insurance company. This allows us to spend more time with you, provide individualized one-on-one care, and create a treatment plan that's tailored specifically to you, helping you achieve your goals as efficiently as possible.
As a nationally registered healthcare provider, we accept HSA and FSA funds, allowing you to use your pre-tax healthcare dollars toward your care.
Depending on your out-of-network benefits, you may also be eligible for partial reimbursement from your insurance company. Upon request, we'll provide you with an itemized receipt, called a superbill, that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. While reimbursement is not guaranteed and varies by plan, we're happy to guide you through the process and answer any questions along the way.

Not necessarily! While you'll pay us directly instead of using your insurance, the overall cost is often comparable to—and in some cases even less than—traditional physical therapy, especially when you consider the quality of care and the number of visits needed.
The difference is also in the care you receive. At REP Physical Therapy & Performance, every session is a full one-on-one appointment with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. You'll never be passed off to an aide, rushed through your visit, or treated alongside multiple patients at once. Because your care is individualized and focused on getting to the root cause of your pain, many patients are able to achieve their goals in fewer visits.
If you have out-of-network benefits, you may also be eligible for partial reimbursement from your insurance company. We accept HSA and FSA funds and can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance.
Our goal isn't to maximize the number of visits—it's to help you recover, perform, and get back to doing what you love as quickly and efficiently as possible.
